What's normal 8mg suboxone taper procedure?

Hello..a suboxone taper no matter what amount is still or should be done at a slow taper..I don't know that there is a specific normal method, simply decrease the amount of suboxone by small amounts over a period of time, and it is up to the prescribing doc  as to how long he/she feels you need.. Just during the taper, keep open and honest communication with them so you can get thru it with very little symptons. I have done a couple of methadone detoxes, way too many from opiates in general and suboxone, and suboxone was not bad at all! It was done small and slow until I was at zero!!
