I have two desks at work. One to work at (covered with papers and junk), and one for "Mr. Computer" (also covered with papers and junk).
I work by the chaos theory "If a messy desk signifies a cluttered mind, what does an empty desk signify?" :P
Righ now, my home desk is a yellow ruled note pad on the floor (till the house is rebuilt), with pen pencil and Amy's (daughter) laptop.

Work...six sets of papers to grade, 4 classes tests to also be graded, all the mail from last week when I was gone. Two videos, my water bottle, scotch tape, white out and tons of pictures of my heathens...I mean students.
At home...books. I've run out of room on the bookshelf so now I use my desk.
