It started about a week ago, my voice box area felt sore around it
and sometimes when i swallow there was kind of a pop, and on the right side of my neck felt kind of sore and swollen......... it would not happen every time i swallow it feels like it comes and goes.....i am 26 yrs. old and i quit smoking about 2 months ago......... I went to a clinic a few days after i felt it and the doctor looked in my troat and said it was red... i couldn t make it pop for him when he felt it.......he gave me allegra-D, and antibiotics and it went away that night and was smooth swallowing for a day now it feels like it is slightly coming back...the doctor said my nodes were not swollen and told me not to worry that day of the visit....i also have high blood pressure if its any constalation....i can make it pop if i look down and swallow... no problems eating or drinking....this worries me,and i hope the doctor did not over look something...my voicebox is not sore now, but today my throat felt a little sore and like a scab is on back of throat..........any insight is helpful

While wrestling around, I heard a pop in my throat. The next day, my throat was sore, hurt to swallow, hurts to talk loudly, and I am not sure if I should go to the doctor. What do you suggest?
