PLEASE IF YOU CAN HELP IT DO NOT HAVE THAT HYSTERECTOMY IT IS TERRIBLE EVEN AFTER 10 PLUS YEARS THE PAIN, WEIGHT GAIN , THE STRESS OF VAGINAL DRYNESS,ETC. GET ANOTHER AND ANOTHER OPINION PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WISH I COULD GO BACK TO THE TIME BEFORE I HAD MINE AND I WOULD ACCEPT THE BLEEDING.
I am 46 years old. Five years ago I had endometrial ablation (EA). I htought it was the best thing ever, told all my friends, shouted the triumphs of EA...until now...I have adhesions in my uterus as a result of EA. Even thought you don't have periods, when you ovulate, there is fluid produced, and the uterus still has glands, that may reactivate. As a result, I have fluid/blood (small amounts)build up in my uterus every month that has no where to go.
This in turn cuases awful cramping and sent me to the ER, thinking I had a burst cyste. As a result, I will now undergo a vaginal hysterctomy.
Ask more questions about EA. I may have been the 1 in 100, I am not sure.
Good luck
