I need to know something about white blood counts down. There is nothing wrong with me, I ask this for my friend who just got her lab results. Doctors said that they need more tests to bring a definite diagnose, so they were very inconclusive when she asked what might be wrong with her. Can you help?
I am not sure whether I should be telling this, but there is a possibility that she might be suffering from bone marrow disorder, and that may result in leukemia, especially if level of young white blood cells is low, while older white blood cells level is normal. I assume that is the reason doctors are doing extra tests. Let us wait for those results and see what happens.
