White Spots/Bleeding Tonsils

Hey, did you find out what it was?

I found something just like this in exactly the same place in my mouth last night, hadn't looked before then but could feel it for about a week before this.

Beginning to assume the worst like oral cancer or something aha

That stone in the picture seems a bit large. I get stones too, but by the time they're visible, they break off. I'd see a doctor about that one if it's still there.

my tonsil is bleeding 4 months now

I've gotten these all my life and most of my adult life I had large tonsils.  However, a few years back I started drinking an herbal tea called Essiac. It caused several of these white balls to come out of my tonsils, but after a few weeks they stopped coming out and then my tonsils shrank down to where I almost couldn't see them in back of my throat. My opinion is the Essiac Tea caused my lymphnode system to purge toxins/infections out of my body.  I still drink this tea maybe 16 oz, every 6-8 months to purge my system.

So i've been sick for about 4 days now starting with a fever, some fatigue, achiness, dizziness, and therefore have been on bed rest. A friend of mine who is a pa looked at the inside of my throat and noticed that a little ways down there was some white and grayish p***y substance. After 2 days of bed rest and not getting better at all, I went to instacare where I had a blood test, an x ray, and a couple other tests done. The doctors told me it doesn't test positive for mono but it looks like I have mono and some other viral infection. That night I noticed that the wierd white and grey substance had made its way up to where it is now visible and very gnarly looking. I've been managing my fever, fatigue and other ailments by taking copious amounts of ibuprofen and that things were getting better. I also poked at the substance a bit with a Q tip in order to see if it was discoloration or some excretion. Low and behold pieces began to come off but as I woke this morning my sinuses were completely blocked and my throat was filled with puss and blood. I've been rinsing with salt,baking soda, h-peroxide water, just for good measure. However yesterday I also noticed that one of my eyes is blood shot and goopy which this morning turned to both eyes and my mouth. My father has decided that if I do not show signs of betterness by tomorrow than he is taking me to the emergency room. Should I be alarmed? I work at an elementary school and this is my first year so i've been sick at least once a month every month, but never this bad or atleast for this long.

If you got the rash after anti iota that's a good sign it's mono, which I happen to have now. My tonsils are caked in white pus and bleed at slightest touch, like eating. It is tonsilitis but it is not bacterial it is viral caused by mono, so antibiotics do not work. I read that many develope a rash when they take antibiotics when they have mono, ask doc for blood test.

I am on Essiac and just took pictures of my throat because I have a sore throat toda, have been drinking essiac tea occasionaly for a few months, and am into 25 months of 22 grams average vit C per day as home made lipo C (water - lecithin - ascorbic acid). I dont have these white stones (look like viral warts) , but have had viral stuff comming out at the surface because of the latent viruses being awoken by the high dose Vit C,,,,

I just woke up after a night of daiquiris and discovered blood on my toothbrush as I was brushing my teeth. I have crooked teeth, so I'm used to some form of bleeding every now and then, but this was nonstop. I looked in the mirror and it looked almost as if my left tonsil was ripped or cut. I love to sing, I do it daily, so maybe I am putting to much tension on my throat. I didn't see any white spots though, and my throat doesn't hurt it just feels very swollen. I was admit, I have had a lot of daiquiris the past few weeks, and sometimes I do fall asleep without brushing (not intentionally) so I'm sure that's how a build up of bacteria was caused. I've never experienced anything like this, so I'm trying to stay as fame as possible. I hope I won't need surgery; will not having tonsils cause me to lose my singing voice? And what about my boyfriend, will I be able to deepthroat?

Hi, I have been getting tonsil stones for many many years. I'm 37 and I can remember back to like the age 11 having them. I've googled on ways to remove them, and found that they actually have a tool you can use. I have not purchased this tool but I do use my finger to kinda push starting from the bottom of my tonsil upward to try and get the stones out. It does work. Of course it's tricky, I use my iPhone flashlight and a small mirror, but it does seem to get them out. I'm just afraid that I may have making them inflamed a bit. Today when I went to do it I noticed blood, a small amount, but it was there. YouTube also have some videos that may help in the removal process. Good luck guys and gals.

I was told that it was a collection of food and dead skin. When I had managed to get the most of it out I was disgusted as to the smell when I squashed it between my fingers. Since this I have had bleeding from that spevigic tondil. Anyone suggest anything pkeaee.

I've seen several doctors about mine that say my tonsils need to come out, since I've had tonsil stones for a year and a half. Hope yours get better!

Hi, I went to the beach yesterday and got in the water and accidentally swallowed some of the salt water and some up my nose. After about 10-15 minutes my throat began to hurt. I went home and went to sleep, once I woke up my tonsils were stolen and it is extremely painful to swallow, I also have a horrible migraine. I looked in the mirror and there is large white spots and craters on them. I tried to scoop the white stuff off but it didn't come off and then my tonsils started bleeding really bad. What should I do??

I know it's been a while since youve posted, but I have the same exact thing, sinus infections and all. I was wondering if you found out what was causing it or if it's still an issue for you? Thanks.
