Well maybe she managed to break another window and escape. :-) This one seamed like one capable bird that likes to run in to peoples houses. :-)
The wild turkeys we have around here would be chasing the dog, not the dog chasing the turkey. They can be mean critters if you corner them. The males even attack cars for driving up a street they think is their territory.
Why did they call the police, did the turkey break some law?
When I was a teen we had 7,000 people in town and 2 police cruisers. Today we have about 14,000 and 12 police cruisers. People are constantly complaining about the cost of the police budget. Maybe if they stopped calling the cops for things they could/should handle themselves, the budget would be lower.
