I have been on a birth control pill for 5 years, but not to prevent pregnancy. My cycles were highly irregular-I'd have one in one month, another the next month then go two months without bleeding, have one, go three months without...well you get the idea. So my doctor reccommended that I go on the pill to keep myself regular so I didn't get caught unawares. It also made my periods a lot lighter than they were. I usually take one everynight between 9-11ish.

I came home from college and realized I forgot to grab my pills. I don't have any extra (from accidentally forgeting one night) at home. I will not be able to take another pill until I get back to my dorm tomorrow evening.

Should I take two tomorrow night, to try to make up for it? Or just take one pill? Since I will have went 2 days without the hormones, will my period be affected as in will it start a day early/late? Will it be longer? I have another week's worth of yellow pills before the week of white ones (the week of my period). My periods usually start on that Wednesday and end on Sunday. It's been a while since I "skipped" two nights of my pills, I can't remember. What should I expect?

I don't have a boyfriend, but am interested in a few guys, so it's not like I'm worried of becoming pregnant or anything.  I'm not sexually active, unless you count masturbating...

I didn't think not taking my pills for two days would cause my period to start that quick. I got cramps earlier today and started bleeding. I asked my grandma, whose been a nurse for over 50 years, and she said that it'll go away after I start taking them tonight and will start again when I start the white ones.
