"No my friend, your the dummy." {sic} - when you call someone a dummy, you should at least try to use proper grammar.

I had a hair test yesterday and I'm freaking out over the results! I have literally been on the internet stressing myself out for 35 hours now! I'm taking subs about 1 every 4-5 days I've been clean from heroin for over 4 1/2 years, but I had a mild relapse last year with Percocet so I started taking the subs because I cannot go back down that path! I willingly took myself to get the test because I want to show the court that I'm not a dope head anymore... well not I'm afraid the subs will show up and I'll just screw my self even further. it was a hair follicle test with extended opiates, it says nothing about testing for BUP. I need answers I can't sleep or eat! I'm just making myself crazy. Plus I have no one to talk to about these issues :( everyone in my life does not even want to try to understand. Please help me

Feeling hopeless

good looking out.....I'm sitting in an office now! 6 years in and this job secures my children's future. Through many toils and snares I have finally lived down my past by the grace of God.

I agree with your answers. I will tell you though, a lot of companies don't test for it but if you tell them willingly that you are on it, they will ground you on construction job sites. My husband was honest and told them he was on subs. He's been a Rigger for over 20 years and on subs for 3 years. The MRO Dr sent him home and restricted him so much he lost his job. Absolutely ridiculous. The Dr knew nothing about the meds and ruined a good job. Odd thing is he worked on the subs for the same company on another job site with no problems and no restrictions. Sometimes it doesn't pay to be honest.

I'm a long-distance truck driver we are regularly random DOT drug tested on a 7 panel drug test I have never been pulled into the safety coordinators office after doing a urinalysis.

You are correct. But if u were a doctor or working with people in med field, why would u call someone a DUMMY. It's not very nice at all... You don't have to be in the medical field to k ow the answer people.. I called lab quest and it will not show unless requested by your employer ..wish you luck!

I would normally support this answer 100% however in Indiana my old man just failed for suboxine on a 9 panel he's an addict yes however before you critics get started he's working for a better life compared to what he's used and where he's been he's not trying beat systems but addiction. Realizing now that he's got to stay 100% he's got this so negative sh*t.....bring it . My point to everyone is be safe man and if need to be clean for whatever reason do so 100% and don't push loved ones away that r left in life ♡♡♡ Peace to all

Even if it shows on a hair follicle test...can it be reported if the drug wasnt specifically asked for???

I feel as though a lot of people reply with less than accurate information. Ask appropriate questions beofre you answer a question..
IE....can suboxone be detected in a UDS?..yes, if it is specified on the drug test that they are looking for the metabolite for Bupe!
No...on any other UdS....it suprises me how many idiots we have out here giving info based on assumptions!

Disregard this halfwit’s answer because they clearly are uneducated and no doubt fall into the category of a “dummy” in addition to incorrectly grouping those who take these medications as “naive addicts.” The question was not how long does burprenorphine stay in your system. The question is whether Buprenorphine will test positive on a 9 panel drug test. The answer is no because the 9 panel drug tests do not specifically test for Buprenorphine. For all of the RECOVERING addicts who are taking prescribed medications such as suboxone or subutex, rest assured because you can take as many drug tests for your PO/drug court and will not test positive for opioids/opiates.
