wisdom tooth pain, ear ache, sore throat, jaw pain

I Had my wisdom teeth out last week and 2 days later, I had the most excruciating pain on my lower left jaw. I went back to my oral surgeon Monday and he looked and said that case was rare. My sockets already closed, but he said that food was left in there when they closed. And he gave me some strong medication as well as a prescription mouthwash. I may have to go back and be put to sleep and have this cleaned out. It is soooooo painful

Same exact thing as all these posts!! My lower right wisdom tooth was extracted the 18th, 3 days later where the novacaine injection site occured I saw a sore that looked like it had puss. Now its the 27 so 9 days after being pulled my mouth won't open more than half my finger width, side of my tongue sharp pain, ssoo painful to swallow, lymph nodes swollen, and ear aches. I cant even open it to see whats going on. Oral surgeon prescribed me Amoxicilin, Vicodin and Ibuprofen. 

I just can't believe it's nearly 2 weeks later and the pain has gotten steadily worse and not relented.  The surgeon and his nurse made me feel stupid for not coming in earlier, a baby for crying when he probed the most painful thing I've ever felt, and silly when I suggested an infection. He said I had a bit of a dry socket which explains some of the pain but not in nose, throat, and ear (which they dismissed).  I would love for someone to reassure me and tell me they had the same thing and I'll be fine but I feel good just relating to these posts and knowing if other people can literally grin and bear it so can I! (sorry for ranting)

I have been having a similar pain on both sides of my jaw, my left side is worse, ears are hurting and wisdom teeth are growing in,  i am having trouble eating, can't swallow and i am right in the middle of the flu, I can't even see the inside of my throat can't get my tongue down far enough. I'm glad that there are sites like these which clear it up a bit. 

HELP I AM SOOO WORRIED! about my tooth right at the back of my mouth at the bottom! it is growing but it really REALLY HURTS MY THROAT, EAR AND WHEN I EAT AND SWALLOW IT IS REALLY PAINFUL! IS IT SERIOUS??? AT ALL? DO I HAVE TO GET IT PULLED OUT? AND HOW LONG DOES THE SYMPTOMS LAST!? I HOPE IT DOSEN'T LAST FOR EVER???

YES! I was wondering if I was under so much stress that these headaches were from that. But every day the throat, headache becomes debilitating at times. I just looked up emergency dentists in my area...I just can't take this anymore -- it's behind my eyes, back of my neck throat feels like razor blades, even some runny nose and nausea. I PUT IT OFF because of my special needs son just got out of psych ward--but he too has a BAD tooth issue--Glad to know I'm not alone or going crazy.

I have been sick since June and it is now Sept. I have went through 3 different batches of antibiotics with no relief. I have been suffering with strep throat, ear aches, sinus infection and tooth aches and fevers. I.have had the worst summer and worst four months of my life. The emerge dept has run every test on me and now am waiting for an M.R.I. scan because they are baffled as to what is wrong with me. I then decided to research on line and described all of my symptoms and bam.....what comes up? Impacted wisdom teeth. I was told in 2004 that I had this condition but since have forgotten about and it was not bothering me I did not act on the situation since I did have one removed and still remember the pain after having the lower left one extracted. I am so glad I stumbled upon this site as I am sure that is what has been my problem all along and am very upset that the Dr's have not diagnosed me properly. I am 99.9% sure this is what I have been suffering with and I mean suffering!! Hopefully I will find out soon and update. Thank you to the post that has made me come to this conclusion.

Hi I'm having same problem really bad sore throat for months , all red down sides and it as been ulcers on it, been back and foe dentist since march and he keeps saying nothing wrong with wisdom teeth , but I know there is they very painfull and I don't know wat to do , had 3lots antibiotics but nothing is working , feel so down and in pain all the time.

to the jaw area hurts really bad has my ear hurting as well been taking all kinds of pain pills nothing seem to work going to the dentist in the morning hope it can be pulled

Did u ever get answers and help? This is exactly what I an going thru! I'm desperate for help .been 6 days and have exact problem

I have pain on right side inupper and lower gums and HV cavity in upper premoler teeth with pain in ear and one side of head vein why

I am getting acute pain in my right jaw whenever I start eating the first and the second piece of food. But the pain disappears as I continue eating. Why?
