Hi .. Im having this really bad discharge.. Its sort of brown and really smelly .. Ive had white discharge before .. but never had brown discharge.. I just finished my period ( which was almost 2 weeks late) .. and lasted til 7th day ..but on the 9th day, I had like 2 small blood spots. When i was having the period.. my pads always smelly and even after period when i continued wearing panty-liners.. its still smelly ..
The month before, everything was okay .. Til before this period, which I had sex with 3 different guys. The other one Ive been seeing for awhile. The other two ive never had sex with them before. Do u think im infected with STD? or issit possible somehow that im pregnant ? coz the period itself was kinda weird. Thanx ... X

Maybe it is just a brown discharge after period. Sure, sometimes brown discharge can be an indicator that you have some STD. From my own experience, it all indicates to bacterial vaginosis. This is an overgrowth of normally occurring vaginal bacteria and to be honest, it is the most common vaginal infection that causes a vaginal odor. Sure, someone will tell you that it can be a Chlamydia and gonorrhea, but those infections usually don't cause vaginal odors. In order to be sure what is happening, you should get tested on several issues, bacteria, and even STD, to be sure. Good luck.
Do you use condoms when you have sex for std and pregnancy prevention or any other contraceptives for preventing pregnancy?
Considering you had your period, which was 7 days long, I don’t think you are pregnant but it is possible that you have an infection, not necessarily an STD.
The only way to know for sure and see your gynecologist and have tested for infections and std’s. This could be your normal discharge that may also smell funny. Brown discharge usually indicates blood and if this happens after or before period, it should be ok because it may indicate the beginning of your period or an old blood but if you experience bloody discharge in between periods, then you should have it checked.

I heard that Chlamydia also may cause bloody discharge. Chlamydia is an STD but it is also easily treated and there are complications if not treated.

Hi...after my period I started to have normal discharge with an itching and burning sensation so I used tetracycline...the itching and burning sensation went away...then I realised to the right side of my lower abdomen was hurting me then I noticed that there was a brown smelly discharge from my vagina...it has been 3 days since my period has finished.. Im 13 and and it’s November 25 and i had my period close to the beginning of the month. When i was using the bathroom. I noticed a chuck of think, light brown mixed with white discharge come out of me. And out of pure curiosity and worry cause i want to carry a child in the future, i got some from me and it was light brown and smelled off if you go close. It smelt like... a condiment? I dont know but it worrys me. I was kinda forced to have sex with one of my exes twice but it was less than a minute. I an scared and dont want to comfront my parents about this. Im afraid of an infection or STD. It was unprotected but we did it months ago. Please help.
