Hi, my father has been diagnosed for glaucoma just 4 days ago and all family is still somewhat shocked. He has prescribed Xalantan eye drops with all the warnings concerning change of eye color and somewhat discolored skin. I would like to know how soon these side effects could happen and how bad they get.
I am using Xalantan eye drops and I have no problems at all. Like all medicine, side effects could occur but it is not for sure. In the beginning of usage, I had mild side effects like itching skin, but nothing serious and annoying. Other side effects that could occur are inflammation, swelling, and shortness of breath, chest pain and worsening of asthma.
