Mobile apps are widely used to obtain information about medical marijuana, especially in a climate of rapidly changing cannabis policy. These apps can help patients find dispensaries, learn about marijuana strains, or get recommendations from the doctor.

The number of people consuming medical marijuana is on the rise. However, medical cannabis remains a polarizing topic despite the rapid changes in cannabis policy.
As different states continue to legalize medical marijuana, its popularity grows among the patients, just like the number of appropriate mobile apps.

LoudCloud App

For medical marijuana patients, the lines and the paperwork including multiple forms can make the process of getting their medicine really frustrating.
Currently, all medical marijuana dispensaries are required to review patient information documents at every visit. Even longtime patients are required to present proper documentation for the dispensary to review. These interactions take time and require multiple forms to be filled at every visit, which is equally bad for both business and patients.
Loudcloud app hopes to streamline the process and make the interaction and purchases faster and more efficient.
The app is intended for both patients and dispensaries.
Patients can securely upload documents onto the LoudCloud server, allowing them to purchase medical marijuana from any of the LoudCloud verified dispensaries displayed on a map.
Dispensaries can upload new patient information on the LoudCloud server using the app, allowing for new customers to become regular customers without having to carry documentation each time they visit their dispensary.
This three-step process is a HIPAA-compliant, which means that all patient information is secure and confidential.
LoudCloud app is free to use on iOS, however, it's no longer available for Android.
