I’m 12 and I was diagnosed with a yeast infection today :( I’ve been on my period since I was 11 and I’ve had on and off itching! I also felt something going on with my uterus (unrelated) which brought me to the doctor, who told me I had a yeast infection! They had to do a pelvic exam which was extremely uncomfortable. I’m so glad that I’m not the only one going through this. My doctor prescribed a clotrimazol (I think it’s spelled that way .
Is there any way we can get rid of it while being at home ? Or simple things we can get from a store ? Because I’m in Mexico & there isn’t so many things where I’m from
Okay this is weird. But if I have a yeast infection and leave it untreated will it cause damage to my vagina and cause me to have a birth defect? (Child with a disability) I’m 13 and really worried about this so can it cause me to have a birth defect if left untreated infection?

hi im also 13 and i think i have a yeast infection :( im a virgin and im not itchy or burning but i have a fishy smell and chunky discharge. i dont wanna tell my mom because its embarresing and i was really hoping someone on here could help me. i tried to feel around to see what the problem was, and i felt a bump at the back of my vagina with a little hole in it. im pretty sure thats part of the uterus but idk :( can someone please tell me what to do and how to do it without telling my mom? i just dont wanna be embaressed :( (also this has been happening for like a week and a half so idk if that helps)
Hi guest, don't be embarrassed to talk to your mum about it as she is the best one to help you and almost certainly had it herself before too, the bump you feel at the back of your vagina is your cervix.
The best thing you can do is talk to your mum or if thats to embarrassing write her a note explaining everything an let her help you :)
