Im 15, and have a very high metabolism. Im not overweight, But I eat more than I think I should. I have a couple symptoms of binge eating, but not extreme. Adults say Im a kid, so eating junk food and splurging isnt going to hurt me. But I have my doubts. I LOVE sweets and fried things, just like any teen. But wonder if its hurting me, even though Im not gaining weight. Im also athletic, so are the carbs good for me?

If you are athletic and active then carbs are not a bad thing. but try to decrease the amount of carbs you take in when you become less active. Fried food is ok every once in a while, but not all the time. The habits you have now will be much harder to break when you are older so watch out. try having fruit when you get a sweet tooth. if you cook and you fry food, fry in olive oil instead of other oils. or bake chicken instead of frying it. don't worry too much if you are not overwieght you are probablly just fine. You are a kid. Stop worrying so much and be a kid and do kid things.
