I have a boyfriend and we've been together a year, im 17 in 2 months and still havent started. We're thinking about having sex, does it matter i havent started yet?

You can have sex, but you can still get pregnant. You need to use protection and be on birth control. You should go discuss these options with an OB/GYN before ever deciding to "go all the way". Just make sure you do this please. This is coming from a teen mom that had a difficult time. If you MUST have sex, please make sure it is safe. If you can not afford a doctor visit, check and see if there is a planned parenthood in your area.

I would say to wait as long as you possibly can, if a guy really really loves you no matter how much he knows that if you won't there is someone who will, he will wait for you becuase he loves you. If you must 'let your inner freak out' use protection and before either of you do anything, I encourage you to go to the health dept and get tested together, this implements sexual health for the both of you, if someone is scared to go get tested with you at any point of your life, they are not concerned about you, only what your body can do for them. Good luck honey! Make HEALTHY choices when your body is involved! (that means ALWAYS)
