Hey
I'm 16 years old and i haven't had sex, nor any real form of oral sex at all, and i have noticed for a while white coloured warts on my scrotum. Some are small and some are quite large. I have managed to burst some, only one of which hasn't returned, but i heard it was best not to burst them.
When i squeeze some a white colour puss comes out, almost like a string.
I understand that warts tend to go away on their own, but I've had these for a while and I'm worried they are spreading.
I would really appreciate any help or information
Is it possible for me to have them without having sex?
Is it common for people of my age?

thanks
I was worried about the same thing, so much so that i went to the doctor to make sure things were alright. He said it was completely normal and i had nothing to worry about, something about hair follicles and the skin being really thin in that area. If you really are worried just go to the doctor tho, thats your best bet.

actually, i have the same exact problem... so i assume its perfectly normal... i got worried as well... i am 16 and have whitish skin colored lumps, but theyre smaller.... i thought it could have been somethin like genital warts but i found out thats caused by hpv, which is only transmitted from skin to skin comtact with another infected person, so i dont think we have anythin to worrry about

I've emphasized one line in your posting.
Warts do NOT tend to go away on their own.
If caused by a virus, they stay and can spread.
Picking at them can spread the virus.

I would think what you are describing is NOT a wart... but a form of pimple or fordyce spots.

Your doctor is correct, having examined you or others about this condition, that it doesn't sound like warts and doesn't warrant treatment.

Yes, you can get warts without having sex.
I was born with some that were burned off when I was a child.
However, we now know that the vapor from such action can spread the virus to nassal passages, etc.
So, wart removal has changed.
(I once helped my wife remove a planners wart from her foot with compound W, Athletic tape and patience. She's made a complete recovery.)
