If you think you are having severe cramping because you had a uterine ablation, this may not be true.  Here is my story.  I had severe bleeding.  I had the uterine ablation.  At first all was good.  Then about 6 months later, the cramps were horrible.  Not all the time, I didn't  know when they would come. But when they did, YIKES.  Fetal position, crying, felt like labor. HORRIBLE.  So I got a hysterectomy. Come to find out  I had a condition called ADENOMYOSIS.  The heavy bleeding and clots were a symptom.  It is after you have children.  My doctor said it could not be detected by ultrasound, which is what we did.  You need to have a MRI.  So if you are having severe bleeding and thinking of an albation, first get the MRI to see if you have this condition.  Because the ablation won't help.  It will make your symptoms worse.  I never had cramping, or severe cramping but after the ablation, the condition symptoms were awful.  Hysterectomy is the only real cure for ADENOMYOSIS according what I have read.  I glad it is over.
