I think I may have a problem with my penis.

So, I'm 15 years old and I understand the whole "puberty happens at different times" idea..It's obviously reflected in my seeing as I'm 15 and only about 5'4... side note.... can height be related to physical activity? I remember my friend once saying to me that after he broke his ankle and stopped sports for a while he grew nearly 6 inches...

Anyways... back on topic. I understand that you should be able to retract the foreskin but I think something is wrong... There seems to be a funny attachment at the back side of the head (where it sort of divides in two) so I can't fully retract the foreskin.. I have tried to many times but it becomes very tight at one point and hurts to retract further... I mean... I'm a guy... I've seen a lot of porn and I've noticed how easily they can retract their foreskin but mine seems very difficult to retract and at the most I can usually get it over the head.... Also... The foreskin wont stay retracted... its almost like the odd attachment has become almost acted like a spring (metaphorically) as soon as I retract the foreskin (like compressing a spring) The second I let go the foreskin retracts (just as a spring would retake its original size and shape)

Please I need some help... Ive been to the doctor already because the attachment was completely around the left side of the head but he said it's best not to do anything... since then the left side of the attachment has just disappeared but now there's still the attachment at the back that's restraining me from retracting the foreskin
Hi,

From your description you are seeing the frenulum. It is a strip of skin that connects the glans (head) of the penis to the shaft. It is normal.

Most guys have trouble retracting when they are young. It usually is pretty easy by the time you reach about 16 -- if you work at it. You need to keep moving it so that it loosens. Just never EVER force it back.

As for your friend, it sounds like he had his growth spurt while the ankle was broken. There is no relation.

Hope that helps, Good luck.

oberg13, actually on the topic of the height thing, it seems that you may be a bit of a late bloomer. But there's a big misconception that physical activity affects height. A lot of kids don't weight train because of it, but it's a myth. The best way to tell how tall you are going to be is to look to your parents and siblings. My parents are both fairly tall, and I turned out to be slightly taller than both of them. How tall are your parents?
