Have you ever encountered a person with 3 kidneys for whom the extra kidney's urine bypassed the bladder (which functioned fine for the other 2 kidneys) and had a separate ureter that terminated and exited in the vulva area as urine was produced by the third kidney (my case, being a female)? How frequently would you guess this situation occurs? Thankfully, my third kidney was discovered and removed at age 9, ending the urine flow problems.
Thank you.
My friend's son was born with 3 kidneys. He is now 11, and they found out 2 years ago that the extra kidney is no longer there, but the tubes are. How did that happen?
