Dear all post tonsillectomy patients who aren't healing well
Please have some consideration for people who are reading these posts and considering this surgery by not just detailing the apparently never-ending misery and pain you are facing. It really isn't helpful and might put someone off having the op who needs it.
There's a difference between writing about the pain and suggesting tips for getting over it but to just moan about the agony is really inconsiderate. If you were really in so much pain would you be on your computer writing about it??
I'm sorry if this seems harsh but having been through the procedure myself, I know it's not pleasant but it can't be compared to child birth!!
If you are in that much pain, chances are that you aren't following docs orders by eating/drinking asap.
Thanks for listening XD
