Your doctor should do everything.
I would NOT take accutane for anything, just my opinion. I'd rather have acne and even scarring than increase the likelihood of liver problems or other side effects.
Do you know what kind of blood test/panel I would need and what to look out for, triglycerides etc?
There are many:
INR panel (coagulation panel) - measures clotting ability
Albumin levels - protein
LDH
AST
GGT - can show liver damage
Bilirubin - can indicate liver disease (blue baby syndrome)
Glucose - can indicate diabetes
Platelet count - can indicate liver disease
