Allergic Reaction to Chocolate?

Hello there, answer people. I would like to know if I potentially have an allergy to chocolate/chocolate ingredients. Here are my symptoms after eating chocolate: *1. Tingling/Numbness around lips (after about 5 minutes of finishing chocolate product) *2. Runny Nose (after maybe an hour once I've noticed... I read on another website that runny nose is also a symptom?) *3. Tingling/Pain in the back of my mouth/throat (Usually right after I eat a little bit of chocolate) Number 1 happened today after eating a chocolate icecream scoop from Baskin Robbins. Number 2 also happened after eating the chocolate icecream scoop. Number 3 happens when eating some Cadbury Milkchocolate, and maltesers. Some chocolate doesn't result in any symptoms. Can anyone help and or explain my symptoms? And do I even have an allergy at all? Thanks so much for all that answer!! :-D
I am curious to know if I'm alergic but not certain yet. If someone is not immune to sugar can they be allergic to any kind of chocolate or just specifice kinds? example: dark chocolate or milk chocolate. not ALL chocolates bother me though. waffer like things such as kit kats or waffer like cookies weather sugar free or not don't bother me...at least so far. Last weekend I had excruiating headaches I almost called 911 myself! I couldn't because I didn't want to do something called "child endangerment" with all my nephews and nieces that slept over. They are 6, 6 the oldest girl will be 4 in february and the youngest of them all will be 2 in May. So yeah. It did really suck though! I didn't want to get up off the floor and had to turn off all radios and lights and not move! Any idea?!
I think that I have a reaction to chocolate, relatively mild with most, but the other ingredients are a problem for me, too. I've tried all different kinds at this point, and the organic 85% bar at Trader Joe's is the least likely to make me have any problems -- I get a headache but it is so worth it after eating rice cereal in various incarnations all day (I'm still in the testing phase). (I've even tried melting Baker's brand cooking chocolate bars ("contains: chocolate") and mixing with items I know I'm ok with -- still reacted.)
When I eat certain sugary products like cream filled cookies, milk chocolate, and for example york peppermint patties, my throat gets smaller. Am I allergic or what?
