Almost 13 and parents make me wear diapers

I cannot believe the responses in this thread. This is nothing short of child abuse and, obviously, trying to discuss a parent-problem with parent who is doing it is out of the question. Every one of these instances - except for the one who is too lazy to get up from the video game to go - needs to be reported to Social Services. The professionals there will deal with your parents accordingly and you will probably receive treatment to get to the "bottom" of things. The first thing your parents should have done is consult a medical physician; especially in the case of the one who noticed that it began at puberty. This could be a a symptom of a medical issue and that should be ruled out.

I would be remiss if I did not point out that there appears that the only problem you kids are having with this is that you are embarrassed about the diapers! I sure would be, too, but that you are accepting this as just a part of your life, you have either been abused to the brink - having adopted a sort of Stockholm Syndrome with your parents-gone-nuts OR you yourselves have checked out of reality to such an extent that your mind is not responding to the signals your body is sending it: "You must urinate!"

This is the most basic of human functions. Those of you who actually "go" in your diaper are providing no reason for your parents to trust that you manage this simplicity on your own. At least two of you - the one that will wear shitty diapers for weeks because s/he is too lazy to change it her/his self (??!!) and the other lazy one I mentioned above - are destined for lonely lives filled with boredom along with mental issues of your own that are likely to be very serious. You have no self-respect - or regard for others, for that matter, because you don't even consider how disgusting it is for anyone to be forced to whiff your nasty filth!!! Expecting - or even letting - your parents change your diapers at your ages is atrocious.

This is not anywhere near normal. You all - and your parents - need to seek mental health care at the earliest available moment.

I am 14 and my parents told me that i have to wear cloth diapers and plastic pants[aka-rubberpants] under my white tights with my holiday dress for my dads work christmas party and also on christmas eve to church.Thet told me i have to wear them to be cute and little girlish and to keep my mind off of boys.

Do you have problems with wetting accidents during the day?
Are your bladder problems during the day bad enough that you need to wear a diaper?
If your parents want you to wear a diaper just to be cute and girlish that is very wrong.

That teacher, in my opinion , was totally wrong in not letting you relieve yourself. As my hubby use t say we are all members of the bathroom goers assoc. How would your teacher feel if that happend to him or her. That was exceedingly cruel to do that to you. What do you think of suing?

I am a girl 14 and newly adopted.My new parents told me that i have to wear diapers 24/7,so the very first day they brought me home,i was put into cloth diapers and plastic pants and am now wearing them 24/7.I do have a few wetting accidents now and then do to being nervous,but i have got used to wearing them now.

I am a girl,15,and made my First Holy Communion in the 13 to 17 year old class back on June 2nd and my parents had me wear a 10 ply thick cloth diaper and adult size white plastic pants under my communion dress! The plastic pants fit me loose and crinkled a little when i walked down the aisle.I felt paranoid the whole time that someone would find out i was wearing them.

I had a similar experience, had a wetting accident at school as I teacher wouldn't release me from class. I was then sent down to nurses office, the nurse took me to another room and had me remover wet clothes and said they did not have clothing for me and then said she would need to diaper me, said my mother had been called and situation was explained. The nurse then diapered me and she used wipes and powder, my clothes were put in a plastic bags I was to wait in room till my mother arrived. Mom got there and when she was brought in, I was on the bed in just a diaper and t-shirt. She was not told to bring extra clothes, I ended up have to leave school in just the diaper and shirt, as we left there was another girl from my class sitting in the nurses office that I had to walk by, she just looked at me and the diaper and then back at me... I was so embarrassed.

Be happy...I wish at 14 my parents put me in diapers. I was diapered at 7 for three months and loved every minute of it. I think all girls and boys 7 to 14 should be diapered for 6 months or 1 year!

Your parents did the right thing! They wanted you to be pure and innocent on your big day just like the little girls so they had you wear the cloth diaper and rubberpants under your dress! Many catholic parents require their older daughters to wear the cloth diaper and rubberpants under their communion dress to make them more pure for the sacrement.

I made my First Holy Communion at age 11 and per the parish dress code,all of us girls had to wear a knee length communion dress and veil with an undershirt,cloth diaper,rubberpants,white tights and the white mary jane shoes. After wards,mom put the diaper,rubberpants and tights in my underwear drawer and every year on Easter and christmas eve and day they were put on me and i had to wear them under my dresses!I was 15 and it was on Easter sunday when it was the last time i had to wear them and it was embarrassing having them on under my easter dress and being around my relatives for our easter celebration!

I am 14 and did my 8th grade confirmation back on june 2nd,All of us girls had to wear a white knee length,short sleeve,poofy dress with the veil,tights and white 'mary jane'shoes.My parents,along with my two gramma's required me to wear a size 8 pampers cruiser diaper with adult size plastic pants over it under my tights with a tee shirt as my top.I was somewhat paranoid that the other girls in my class would find out that i was wearing them.An hour before the ceremony,i was standing in a small group with some of the other girls in my class and we were talking and it came out that some of the girls also had a diaper and plastic pants on under their tights also,so i was very much relieved to know there were other girls like me with a diaper and plastic pants under their tights!

Has any teen here had to wear a Pampers type baby diaper? Because of a few bedwetting accidents and then finding out a Depends is too big?? S/M only goes down to 28". We now ended up with a Pampers Swaddlers Overnight size 6 and something called ConvertUps. This ConvertUps is made to make the size of baby diapers fit teens, my mom found them online. Since finding these and now wearing the diapers at night for bed, this has also turned in to weekend as well. During the weekend mom has me diapered all day and night and said it's just easier to have me wear the diapers now so she doesn't have to worry about this. Do you think it's okay that I wear the Pampers? Mom said this is exactly what these ConvertUps are made for, and that there are teens that are still diapered like this.

It is awkward to wear diapers when your a teenager but with bed wetting problems they are the best option. The size and brand really mean nothing you just have to use what size and brand fits you properly without leaking. A plastic sheet on your bed will help to protect your mattress in case there is a leak.
Bed wetting is a common problem and many kids wet their beds into their teen it is not your fault that it happens bed wetting is a medical problem.
Why is your mom keeping you in a diaper during the day on the weekends do you sometimes have daytime wetting accidents?
Not sure how old you are or if your a boy or girl but if your not having daytime accidents you should not be wearing a diaper. The bed wetting is something you will most likely grow out of soon with only having a few bed wetting accidents you hopefully will be dry most nights in the near future.
If your a boy it can be harder to talk to your mom about wearing a diaper but you really should not be in a diaper during the day unless you do have daytime accidents.

I am a girl,14 and have two sisters,ages 13 and 11.Ever since we were little girls we would get excited about christmas and sometimes be so excited,that we would wet the bed on christmas eve! Our mom started having the three of us wear cloth diapers and plastic pants to bed on christmas eve and we have been wearing them ever since to bed on christmas eve! Mom has our diapers and plastic pants all washed and ready for us to wear this christmas eve! We are also put into our diapers and plastic pants the saturday night before Easter.On Easter morning,mom changes our diapers,and then we wear the diapers and plastic pants under our Easter dresses for the day.

Pampers does make their diapers in sizes 7 and 8 for older kids and teens.The size 8 will fit a teen up to about 120 pounds.My parish does baptisms at Easter vigil and all of the preteen and teen girls wear the traditional white baptism gowns and bonnets with lace socks and white shoes.The size 8 pampers is worn with loose fitting plastic pants over it under their gowns with a tee shirt as their top.
