Hello! My daughter has dyslexia. Actually, I didn’t even know that such disorder exists so I couldn’t recognize the symptoms on time. I thought my child has problems with reading and learning of new letters and words as many school children, especially in the first grade. Now, we go three times a weak to a reading specialist but I can’t see any progression. I heard chiropractic could be helpful. What do you think about alternative treatments for dyslexia?
Hello! I know many people who go to chiropractic, use bioenergetics or visit acupuncture specialist. As I know there is no scientific evidence that these alternative approaches show some results. I don’t know which technique the reading specialist uses but as I know modern multi-sensory techniques are proved to be successful. Teachers use techniques involving hearing, vision and touch to improve reading skills. If your child has severe dyslexia the progression is usually slow.
