For several weeks now I have been getting a sticky, stretchy, tubular(sometimes)mucus discharge release from my back passage when i go to the loo.I often feel the urge to use the loo but on getting ther all i pass is this long sticky, solidish, but stretchy mucus discharge. If i do pass a stool the mucus is more or less around it ,not within it.Its becoming increasingly alarming, but due to the nature of the beast its not something you want to be going to see the GP about.
I am in otherwize good health,I'm a 40year old male, reasonably fit and in work as a factory operative, which does involve some heavy lifting.I must add,I also have piles-but they cause me no big problem. My problem is the mucus and it is worrying me as the problem seems to have got steadily worse over the past few weeks.
Can anyone please offer me a good explaination as towhat it may be and what i can do,I would be most appriecative,thank-you.
