I have a disorder called antiphosphollipid deficiency syndrome (causes blood clots). Because of this I have 4 DVT's and a PE. I have been on blood thinners since it was found for about 4 years. Recently I have been experiencing a lot of pressure in my head and ringing in my ears along with sharp pains in the other lungs area (rib cage) as well as sweating hot flashes especially if lying down and extremely fast heart beat in excess of 100 bpm and this aall happens while asleep or falling asleep. Is this anything out of the ordinary for my existing conditions or should I be concerned

Sounds very similar to my uncle who has a factor 5 blood condition  along with two others I think yours might be one of the others.  One of his is a progressive disease in that it continues to get worse with time.  They also have done tests for lupus as they have some similar symptoms.  His lupus tests are negative.  He still gets clots even with medication.  They have been steadily increasing dosage as the years go by.  When he has a clot he has high blood pressure which causes headaches and a lot of the pains in lungs etc.  He gets the ear ringing as well and vision changes especially when he's under a lot of stress.  You really should have your blood #'s checked again.  You also should be seeing a specialist for your problem,  not just a physician.  He is seeing an oncologist because they catagorize it with blood cancers.  Were you able to get help?  Hoping so.  He's having trouble getting the help he needs now because the dosage required has not been tested and no one wants to be liable if they fill a prescription at that dosage...can't find anyone to use him as guinea pig either.  Do you know anyone who might be able to help him?  We are in Colorado.
