After switching between insurance , i was off my birth control for 2 months. I have been suffering the whole time. B12 and pain killers in the morning help but not all day. I cant wait to get back on my birth control . This is horrible

I have severe anxiety anyways but since coming off the pill it has severely increased. I thought I was crazy and thought my anxiety was doing all this. So I'm glad other people have the same effect! Thanks.

Same here since stopping the pill I got anxiety..never really had severe anxiety but is severe I'm anxious for even being anxious..anxious thought intrusive thoughts...etc. I feel guilty for thoughts..Is like I'm anxious and very sensitive and critical of my thoughts I'm in month 6 of stopping. When does this get better??? Hormones test say is all normal. Don't feel normal. Also been having twitching here and there on arms,legs,toes.

Hey, i have been suffering with debilitating anxiety and feelings of brain fog like im not in my own mind for the past 14months!! Sometimes its worse than others,but every morning i wake up shaking,dizzy,no appetite.lessens as the day goes on..its hell on earth!! I had a panic attack on dianette/Diane and stopped it right away.I was only on it 6weeks. ...then the anxiety never went away :( Can I ask.....DID GOING BACK ON THE PILL HELP? I cant take it anymore,its going on too long!! Please let me know C x

I have been experiencing the same. I've been off birth control for three months now. This last month has been awful. I wake up anxious..can't drive to work. I've missed a week of work. I ha e a panic attack one to three times a week. I've never been like this before. How many months did it take for your symptoms to go away??

I was on the pill for a few years and noticed I felt anxious on it so I decided to stop. My anxiety got a lot worse and I have shortness of breath and shakiness and seem to focus on really bad thoughts randomly. I cry for no good reason sometimes and also found that making too much eye contact makes me uncomfortable some days. I've been off the pill for 3 months now and if anything the symptoms seem to get worse. It seems like they are the worst a week after my period but I just can't take this anymore and I feel not myself. My fiancé I worry is uncomfortable around me because of this, and doesn't know how to help me. I'm getting a blood test today to see if maybe I'm low on vitamins or something? Is there light at the end of this tunnel without anxiety meds? Should I get back on bc? I just don't want to be dependent on any drugs and wish vitamins and breathing would help but I've been trying with little success :(

I have been going through the same thing lately. I was originally taking the pill for the last 6 years and stopped about a month and a half ago. About a week ago I started getting these panic attacks to the point where I thought I was dying and ended up in the hospital twice.
Seeing this board has given me a lot of reassurance that it is from the pill and I will just need to ride out these symptoms until my hormones balance out
Anybody know how long until things will usually go back to normal?
