Anybody who use drug rosiglitazone for a long period of time?

My mother is on rosiglitazone due to her diabetes type 2. She has been using it for years. This drug belongs to a group called thiazolidinediones and I have heard about possible side effects. I was hoping to find anybody here who uses this drug for a long period of time. Do you have any side effect?
