I'm a 25 year old woman and I'm pretty sure I have tmj, and I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience. I have been having chronic tension headaches and dizziness for years and have seen many doctors, and have gone through many different treatments for it, non of which has worked. My jaw has always cracked and popped, but I never thought anything of it until recently when I heard about tmj. I was reading online that tmj can cause the symptoms i have been experiencing, but I have not heard of anyone personally experiencing them. I have an appointment with a dentist in a few days, but I don't want to get my hopes up that this is what has been causing my symptoms. If anyone knows anything about this or has had a simailar experience I would love to hear about it. Thanks!!
