are you taking provera/clomid?

hi guys its now 2011 but hope people can still read this, ive started taking prover and tomorrow is the first day to take my clomid as what my doc told me. Im excited cause this is my menstrual week that is really and my napkins cant even hold it. I hope this will help me to get pregnant immediately cause im married for 6 years now but we dont have baby. Please pray for me cause i wanted to be a mom and im now 29.

My OBGYN prescribed Provera to me... 2 pills a day for 5 days and on the 5th day of my period to take Clomad for 5 days. Days 12-20 me and my partner are suppose to have intercourse every other day. On day 23, I am suppose to take a blood test and days 36-40 I can take a pregnancy test!!!!! This is my first round of the process so I am hoping it all goes well. I am super excited! I have started provera and waiting to tale clomid on my 2nd day of period.So will wait and excited to see the outcome as this is my 1st treatment.Can't wait to have a baby.Good luck to all you beautiful ladies out there trying to conceive.

I have also been taking provera for 10 days and cloimid for 5 days. this is my fourth time trying. I been starting  regular with provera i am just still  having trouble geting pregent. I am now on 100mg of clomid. I hope it happens soon. if god is willing.

hey just wanted to know how did the meds work for u I am just starting the provera and clomid keeping positive thoughts hopefully it works

Yes I'm also taking provera and clomid. I will be starting my 3rd course in 25 days time.

Question: I take my Provera the last 10 days of the month, clomid day 5-9 but then did you take it the last 10 days of that month also or just the pervious month?

I have noticed most people only take provera for 5 days, not sure why I am takiing it for 10 days... this pushes me to have a 30 day cycle rather than noramal 28.

I took clomid and provera and had all negative ovulation tests so hoping it stil happens. Did you take Provera for your normal amount of time after the clomid, I've heard it's not good for a developing fetus...

Someone PLEASE help! I was in the ER due to major back and abdomonal paind and got horrible news.... I took Clomid 50 mg for the first time because I stopped all ovulation. Well at day 11 I had 2 follicles on both ovaries measuring 2cm which was great at they were excited by day 14 it would be perfect size and then day 24 progesteron was 40.8... another awesome... was feeling pregnant got a faint posititve.... Ended up in the ER tonight day 30 due to major back and abdomonal pain... on my left ovary I have a cyst needing to be surgically removed due to it being 6.2x4.8x2.3 cm and on the right it's still 1.4cm.... these should desolve when fertilization doesn't occur... well mine decided to just get huge and stay huge... I doubt they will put me back on clomid and I just have this horrible feeling this means say goodbye to having kids.... they biggest dream i've ever had... Help someone... has anyone had something like this and had surgery and dr tried again and everything worked or something? I'm just devestate.

My doctor put me on provera the 5 day pill and told me to keep taking them every month this is my first month and she told me i should have my af 3 days later well my last pill was on the oct 31st i started my af nov 2nd now just waiting to ovulate and see if i get pregnant hope provera works for me :-D

Yes I am taking provera ttc I have polycystic ovaries and have never been normal cycles for me. The provera has worked wonders. I don't take the provera anymore and im still having normal cycles

So you keep taking the provera while you take clonus?

Hello, I am prescribed by doctor to have serophene-clomiphene citrate 50mg on the 5th day of my menstruation in order to ovulate. Can anyone tell me how it works? Thanks
