I used to experience this same thing in my twenties. Now that I am 40, I experience something different. I don't experience that sexual arousal feeling anymore, now its straight back pain. Even when I'm sexual aroused, I get back pain. I don't think one has to do with the other, but it could. I also have incontinence, which I think may have come from me holding out due to the feeling. My suggestion is to not do that so much. It may feel good but you may pay for that later.
I do it too. It started when I was a sophomore in high school. I thought I was the only one who did this. It's nice to know that there are others out there who have experienced this. I don't feel alone. It does feel good, but in the long run I fear what's going to happen years down the road. I've tried to stop, but it's nearly impossible as I've been doing it for years. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
wow! i'm 15 and i started at 13. i don't know how i began to feel that way but i keep doing it....and this may sound weird but it feels even better if i bend over onto my knees. but i don't hold it out of the bathroom, pee comes out when i hold it too and i'm not all that keen on pissing myself. :-P
I'm 18 and I've been doing this for a few years now. It has become somewhat of an addiction for me and I find myself doing it every time I need to urinate when I am at home. I'm surprised that more of you don't experience the problems that accompany my said addiction. I get bladder infections that rapidly become kidney infections which even with the help of antibiotics don't go away unless I can manage to stop myself for a few days. I've also got very mild incontinence from this as I like to push the urine to the entrance of my urethra and hold very tightly so that nothing comes out and this is how I find the most pleasure and I think this is weakening my muscles.
I hope that my post is a warning to all the women who find pleasure this way. Please don't do it too often or for too long or will get sick like I do. Be safe ladies
This has happened to me before. Usually, it occurs when I have my period, and happens when I'm asleep/just waking up. Leads to some very interesting dreams.Usually the sensitivity goes away after a while, but sometimes I feel a little... Shall we say, tingly when I have to urinate throughout the rest of the day. Anyone else experience that?
This is an excellent description of both the pluses and the minuses of this activity. Unfortunately, you were not very lucky with these all resistant infections. You know how it is: some people can do something for their whole life and nothing bad happens to them, while for others troubles are starting right away.
Well, I must admit I was thinking that closing tightly the entrance of the urethra was a good way to improve the firmness of the muscles, but maybe I was wrong.
Anyway, great advice for the girls: not indulge in this activity too often or for extended periods of time. Balance things! :)
I am very happy to have found this thread. I consider myself a pretty regular female in my early-thirties and for a lot of the time the thought of holding my bladder is not something I wish to do- but sometimes I get an irrestistible desire to refrain from peeing until I can no longer resist, and the sensations are generally amazing! From time to time I manipulate things e.g. by drinking a bit more and holding on until desperate. It is something that I have done for many years but did not like to think too far into it in case I turned out to be some kind of psycho! I have not experienced any unpleasant side effects, apart from a few near misses when I have left it just a little bit too long. It's fun, but not something I have ever shared before.
I am sure you are not a psycho, but a normal girl wanting to explore more of our humanly sensations. :) I am very glad you had the courage to share your experience with us, even if anonymous.
Hopefully, you won't get any unpleasant side effects at all!
I'VE been getting the same issue too, im 17 it started when i was 16, it really does feel great, i had to hide my laptop to ask this question because i thought i was the only one.........phew.....im not alone....but what i want to know is why it happens, im going to find outand ill post it.
Well, I am glad you don't feel alone anymore. The most probable reason would be the anatomy, I guess. While the bladder is getting fuller and fuller, it expands and creates some pressure to the neighborhood organs, which happen to be (in the females' case) the clitoris, the vagina and so on. Maybe there are also other explanations too. You're encouraged to post your discoveries as soon as you find more.
I'm a woman and I've had this happen to me too. It's like a very pleasurable feeling in my vagina. From what I have read, when you hold your pee, your bladder becomes swollen and when it becomes swollen it can rub against your g-spot causing that feeling of pleasure. Basically it feels amazing but it might be bad for you....
After discovering this, you have started holding it on purpose or it just happened accidentally, when this kind of situation arose? I don't think it is very bad when it just happens from time to time and not in a planned manner.
