I had 4 surgeries in 1 year (hyterectomy, appedictis, part of colon removed w/temp colostomy & re-connection of colon) A week prior to my last surgery I woke to lower/mid left internal "back" pain. It was alleviated by going back to sleep in an upright position. It has progressively gotten worse over the last 8 months (it happens just about everynight!) Doctor has only heard of this once in 30 years and I don't have what taht patient did. Doctor is stumped!Anyone else have pain that occurs only when you are sleeping???? No one else I have spoken with (doctors and non) have heard of such a thing.
