I have not had a period since 2/5/09 and I have abdominal cramps and breast tenderness. i went to the doctor and they only did a urine test and said I was not pregnant then had me go in the next week to get on birth control.. I have about 3 reg pills left before i should start my period so I am hoping it does start. i have always been on time.. never late. it is so frustrating.. and they said there was no need for a blood test because their urine test would tell us. aren't there some people who do not show on urine tests because of low hCG levels? %-)

I am over a week late for my period and took a pt it came through positive but both lines were not as bold as the pic, i also have very tender itchy boobs along with the worst cramps i ahve ever eperenced for the past 5 days....Im worried incase its serious? I would be happy if i was preganant but how can i be sure of exactly the problem?
Any advice would be helpful.... %-)

The lines dont have to both be bold. That right there is a positive. Trust me... i've spent a month now reading up for my girlfriend. Hope that helps ^_^
She has the same problem of sore breasts, mild nausea and the no period. Normal cause for excitement but right now, a baby is a little too soon. HPT's still show negative, before and after missed time. The ever weird cramps that I'm never told how different, "just are jackass". And of course shes been freaking for who knows how long.
As much as most are probably like my girlfriend, I know you don't wanna see a doctor, but it's not always pregnancy, it could be something minor that grows like a baby, but instead of a bundle of joy its little pain in the ass, and no not your partner or the terrible 2's. So please see a doctor, and maybe give advice on how to convince my girlfriend to see a doctor as well? haha.
And if you have seen a doctor any chance of finding out what it was? or if you've experienced this before? Thank you! I wish I could be more help.

HI im so confused i come of the pill 3 weeks ago and was trying.I havn't come on proply i spot like come on for a few hours then no sign of anything till another 2 days and will happen again.I get pains in my lower belly and boobs are really sore.I don't know if im preg or not i took test and negative but its hard to not know when im due to come on as im unpredictable and always have been even on pill.HELP.

Okay so basically its all the same as the rest of yours but its bothering me .. im 16, i know young right. anyways i'm almost 2 months late. the cramps are getting unbearable, most the time i eat like theres no tomorrow, but then ill randomly not be hungry. i sleep alot but i usually sleep alot to begin with. i've been having the feeling that im going to throw up but i never do. my boobs are a little sore but nothing major, i cant tell if they've grown cuz well they're already a d... anyone plz?

HI i am 17 years old and i just graduate from high school.My last period was May 7 and i had sex May 17 and 18 i had supposed to came on my period May 30 because they come every 24 days but i didnt i had really bad stomach cramps and still having them now but i took a pregnant test June 3 and it was positive so i took another the next day to make sure and it was positive so i am now waiting to take one at the health clinic june 13 to make sure which most likely i know i am because i never be late im kind of scared because i never kept nothing from my mom but this :$ :'(

I am in the same situation. Period is about 5 days late now, which is totally not normal for me, felt a bit queasy and light headed on occassions, breast are bigger and have stomach cramps although these are bearable. I also just feel different. Not taken a pregnancy test as yet. Not sure if I am happy about it or not! %-) Bit scared about taking a pregnancy test and finding out the truth!

Hi, my name is jessica and i'm only 18 but a week ago my bf and i had unprotected sex. I was on birth control in the past b/c i was having some "girl issues" and so they told me to quit taking it for a while. Well the pains started coming back so they told me to take a new birth control and told me not to take it till after I have my next period. That week ( last thursday) my bf and I had unprotected sex and he half-way came inside me. And I've been starting to feel sick the past couple of days. My breasts are sore, and tender, my lower abdomen has a wierd feeling and is sore, i wake up feeling nautious and have a gross taste in my mouth at all times...it kinda tastes like metal. My period is 3 days late and i took a pregnancy test and it said negative....but my question is can i be pregnant?? Is it too early to tell?? How soon do u start feeling sick, is it too early to be feeling these symptoms?? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

if your stomac hurts and your a virgin and you missed your period you probably just have a UTI go get tested. its a urinary track infection. also im having the same symptoms nauses breast hurt the nipples are really sore my period never came last month at all. little head aches here n there im going to get tested tommrow home kit n see whats up. is there anything else that can cause your breast to hurt though?

I have been having HORRIBLE cramping for 2 weeks now. I am usually like clock work when it comes to my period. I should have had it 4 days ago.
