I just wanted to say that I am almost 20 years old and have went 14 months with no period and I have never been on birth control!! my doctor does not know why I dont have a cycle. Usually I go about 3-6 months without a cycle before starting. But the 14 month wait was horrible! My doc just says that maybe its how my body is, because my mom was almost the same way. I recently started having tenderness of my breast in january when I had tenderness for the first time and 4 days after it started, I had a period (this was the one i had after 14 months of not having one) so it was pretty bad. Now I am having severe tenderness again however it has lasted about 2 weeks and i still havent started my cycle. The doctors all say that its just my body trying to release the buildup hormones (associated with menstruation) in another way other than a period. They have no idea how long it will last, or exactly why I'm experiencing pains instead of my body just having a period. But I hope to find out soon. I know this probably doesnt help you much. but its always good to know someone else has somewhat similar problems!! Hope you find out whats going on with you! Good luck!

hi all im in the same boat too my last period was on the 12 feb 2011 i am normally 42 days and it has been 3 months since my last so i have missed two periods my boobs are sore and im getting cramps moody the lot. according to bloods im not pregnant, i have had clean smear test. i had a urine infection and was on antibotics, but there is still no sign of it what do i do.

I had three shots of the depo contraceptive injection, from approx november 2009 until around july 2010. whilst i was on this, i had constant bleeding, so i came off the injection. since then, me and my fiance have been having unprotected sex for around 10 months now. we would like to get pregnant. i have been diagnosed with policystic ovary syndrome and we are finding it hard to concieve. however, two weeks ago the bleeding stopped and i have sore and tender breasts, i have taken pregnancy tests but they all have come back negative. Any suggestions as to what is going on? Thank You

Hi there i have another question
Im quite worried. i havent had my period since 21st of March. For the last few weeks i have had period-like stomach cramps. i took 2 pregnancy tests the week of when i expected my period to be due but my periods have been irregular since coming off the pill in December. My doctor says not to worry and that i just have irregular periods but my fiance and i are trying for a baby and so its worrying me why pg test is negative yet i have no period and cramps. i also have had sore nipples for just over 3 weeks. Please offer me some advice!

I'm 8 days late. I'm sexually active but it hasn't been a month since the last time I was intimate. I haven't taken a pregnancy test yet, however I do not feel pregnant. I feel the usual feeling I get when I'm about to have my period. Anyone gone thru the same thing? I am scared but I do have been under a lot of stress and have gained weight (for intentionally overeating and not really doing anything- no work/out, etc.).

I am a married mother of 2 boys, I have NEVER felt this way before. I have been cramping for 4 days and my period is 7 days late. I have been tracking my period since March because we were planning on trying for another this November. Since I have been tracking my periods I have never had more than 28 days between each period. I am possitive that what is going on with my body is not normal for me. With my first 2 pregnancies I peed on a stick the day I was supposed to get my period and it always came out possitive. I am dumbfounded as to why my tests arent possitive. I started a little spotting. First it was a bright pink swipe after peeing and then it was just a brown discharge but nothing consistant. Very confused! I also dont have medical insurance right now for frustrating reasons. We weren't trying to get pregnant, we were only using condoms, and now I am a very confused momma. Seems like everyone elses symptoms are similar but not the same. Eh... help!

hi could be to do with stress or worry. i have seven children and am getting stumach cramps and also have missed a period completely am now 6 weeks late i did a hpt which has come back negative. i am convinced now its down to stress . the more you worry about your missed period the the longer it can take to start again. But all your symptoms you have described is common pregnancy ones get to the doc asap good luck

i am in the same position. i took one pregnancy test n it was negative also. my periods are usually funky. n sometimes i skip months or it will be rhht on time. my periods have been on schedule lately but last month i missed n still havent received it. i have all the same symptoms as you! not sure wat it is either.. gota see the doc soon.

yes sweetheart your pregant i came online looking for the same information i had cramps every 5 minutes tender breast and i missed my period.. and i came to realize i am pregant.. but to be on the safe side u should go for a check up
