I know it's only been 24 hours but I just don't want to keep taking parocetomal pain killers I have been taking them for the last 3 days with the pain... is it normal to still be in some pain and have swelling 24 hours after sorry if it's a stupid question, I'm just worried and in pain

Hi dear. Sorry to hear about your tooth problem. I faced the same problem while my pregnancy. I can certainly help you with some tips. An over-the-counter pain reliever, such as acetaminophen, may provide short-term relief for a toothache. The American Pregnancy Association recommends that all pregnant women consult a doctor before taking any over-the-counter medication. In most cases, ibuprofen and aspirin are not considered safe during pregnancy. A number of over-the-counter antiseptics can numb the gums and provide temporary pain relief. Benzocaine can be applied directly to an irritated tooth or to gums. Warm or cold compression can sometimes provide temporary relief for a toothache. A warm washcloth or water bottle can be applied to the side of the face where the pain persists. A cold cloth or pack of ice may also provide relief by numbing the area; this method can be used as often as necessary. If these tips don’t help try to consult a good gynecologist.
