Are/were you under a specialist who knows about this condition? My GP has never heard if this condition thus has no clue who to refer me to?

I did a phone consult with Dr Jenkins he was great.

I have bertolottis syndrome and degenative disc its very painful and has affected my mobility to the point of reduction ive had physio pain killers amatriplyne and now awaiting for a spinal injection in the L5 of the spine

its such a
shitty sydrome to be diagnosed with mine flared up at 34 i just put my legs up the wall when paining and the spasms i get . I dont take meds anymore scared they mess up my liver difficult to trat too

I just read about your circumstances ..and I truly feel your pain..I too am in agony..I never sleep in my bed now..I can't bare to lay down on my sides flat .I too prop myself up on my thirty year old sofa that dips in the right place and supports my side ..I take full meds the doctor allows and still in agony .I recently had all injections thrown at me..I was left with ghost sviatica for three days then it hit out again then instability started after day five ..then day 14 something seem to tear seperate on my right pseudoarthrisis joint to ilium ..which meant I tried to stand and acute pain in my hips pelvis.. He ence three days complete sofa surfing..then the left fused to sacrum side was pulling..Scistica getting worse ..feet crippled facet pains tenderness hips felt like poppingv out ..struggle to weight bear ..having to complete a task then get back on sofa quickly ..then by night unbearable pain ..laying bath to try to ease...awaiting phone app Nov to ask how injections went...day 33 the stiffness returned .minute I tried to rest stiffness can't turn over can't get up out if chair can't move unaided ...then the stiffness eases replaces with weight bearing pains in facets spine and sacrum again and a the time sciatica pajns ..classic on left front and back on right .feet toes criple ...it's too much at times I cry the. Have to pull myself together but there's no pin like it..I'm UK Shropshire and have to travel to stanmore london for injectiins costs costs travel hotels food petrol etc .now considering giving up on my motabity car..ordered hands on my controls in hope of continuing hence refuse more than pregabalin and cocodamol..meds
