my fiance has these too and sometimes they get so huge they just burst on their own. he finally went to the doctors and it could be different things but for him it happens cause he has over active sweat glands. im not sure of the whole explanation of this but  its most common in the armpits and the inner thighs. if you have this happening to you then you should be going to a doctor as soon as possible and STOP popping them because that can cause them to spread. start using an antibacterial soap and the doctor will give u some pills to help clear them up. also if they do pop then you should use gauge to cover it up and use neosporin. the medicine will definitely help clear them up but from what i understand from this is that they are not 100% curable.

Try putting a slice of lemon on the affected area, or one of them for several hours.  It may take several days; however, you should noticed a reduction in size each day.  Lemons contain a natural chemical or enzyme that kills pore-clogging bacteria.  Do not pop them in any way before doing this.  Even if it has started to tunnel underneath just put it on one of the cyst type sores and it will also reduce the tunneling around the sore ;o)  You could also mix some turmeric spice with water to make a paste and put on skin allow it to sit and dry for about a half hour then scrub off with a washcloth.  You can add a bit of honey to the mix as well, honey is anti bacterial, anti fungal and was used in medicine for a long time.  Turmeric also fights acne.  Turmeric does stain so take precautions with clothing and know the affected areas might look a bit jaundiced from the spice.  On a side note:  Cucumber sliced rubbed on skin daily will attack blackheads ;o)

What we put on our bodies and diet has a lot to do with it. The glands become inflamed. This could be due to certain cleansers, deodarents and other topicals used on skin that prohibits the glands from getting toxins out of the body. Also certain foods are inflammatory and some are anti-inflammatory that can excarbate it. If diet is filled with soda, junkfoods, fastfoods, pre processed foods then a lot of chemicals and toxins are going into the body, HFCS is a killer and is addicting it causes a multitude of ailments. All these things cause your liver to work less efficiently and can lead to Fatty liver disease which makes everything worse. If someone also drinks alcohol regularly on top of all those other toxins it can make it far worse. Alcohol and soda can cause cirrhosis of the liver. A liver friendly diet can heal your liver if caught early enough and then it can do it's job to rid your body of toxins. Epsom salt baths once a week will help draw toxins out of your body as well easing the load on your liver.

both my grandchildren have had those symptons for a while. The GP identified them as infections caused by a bacteria that hides in the body. He put them on course of strong anti biotics to kill it and they are going away.

Its a form of folliculitis, it can be caused by many things: weight, diet, stress etc. Best thing to do is keep the area clean and if your overweight (my issue) try to prevent skin on skin contact. Afterall, the epidermis and dermis weren't designed to rub on each other. Good luck to all.

After countless research time i have just found this on another website. I belive this is what we all may have. Im going to ask my doc for the same meds. Good luck everyone i hope this helps. I really do belive that what this post says is true. Hi, this happens to me all the time. It started when I was in high school and progressively got worse and worse. Mine sometimes grows to the size of a quarter before it pops with yellowish green puss along with blood that oozes out. So gross! I have one right now in fact. I didn't have one this morning but had one after work. Never really bothers me because it comes and goes. But lately it's coming one too often and I am embarrassed when I am intimate with my boyfriend. I just got back from the doctor. He use to work with a plastic surgeon in London and he says this happens all the time, and mostly to women. It’s one of the most common consultations they get in the clinic. It's a staph infection. We constantly have bacteria living on our skin. We also have this protective layer that keeps these bacteria from entering. Friction from our thigh rubbing together wears that protective layer down therefore letting that bacteria enter our skin. This bacterium causes inflammation and puss. This makes perfect sense to me because I was wearing a dress today hence the thigh rubbing together. He says it has nothing to do with hygiene at all. He also says this is nothing to be embarrassed about athletes get them all the time. It occurs under the arms, groin area and the crack of our buttock. He said unfortunately, there’s no cure. And chances are you will get them again and again. However, there are things you can do to make it less frequent. He gave me antibiotic to get rid of the bacteria. It’s called ARYTHROMYCIN, three times a day for seven days. He said most doctors will give you enough for 2 days because that’s how quickly it will take to make it go away but that won’t work. Because it will come back again taking it for two days will only make that bacteria resistant to the antibiotic. Taking it for seven days will ensure the death of all the bacteria. The other thing he suggested was an over the counter skin cleanser called 2% CHLORHEXIDINE. He said to use it in the shower, on the groin area, armpits and the crack of the buttock. He also said don’t rinse it right away leave it on for one minute before rinsing. Again, unfortunately this is something you will have to do for the rest of your life. He said that doing this routine will lessen the frequency up to one every two to three year. This must be common because he gave me enough antibiotics for three boils. He said the moment it looks like it’s going to start, take it right away, three times a day for seven days. I hope this helps, I am glad to finally get the answer to this painful disgusting boil on my inner thigh.
