Dear Jezikah
Your menstrual cycle starts on the first day of your period and ends the day before your next period starts, and is typically 28 days long.
Levora should be prescribed by a doctor who will check your medical history first. You should take it exactly as prescribed by your doctor, and follow the instructions with the package.
Regarding the 'wait a month' you read about, it possibly referred to the fact that you need to wait before you can rely on it for birth control. You may need to use another birth control, such as condoms or a spermicide, when you first start using it. Or it may have said wait a month after having a baby.
Speak to your dispensing pharmacist who should be able to advise in line with your doctors prescription. Better still, speak to your doctor.
There are a number of conditions that would mean you should not take Levora, so it is important to get a properly considered medical prescription following a detailled consultation.
Take care
Hope this helps
