Hi. I have blackheads on my nose and I don`t know how to get rid off them. My Mom keeps telling me I should stop eating chocolate. I wash my skin all the time, but blackheads are still present. What to do?

Hi. Your Mom is wrong. It is an acne myth that acne are caused by eating fatty food or chocolate. Also, you can`t get rid of blackheads with water. Blackheads are not dirt. However, you have to wash your face anyway. If you don`t bacteria will be able to multiply. I have blackheads on my nose. I just squeeze them, but they always return. I think I will try to rub them with row garlic. I hear garlic is the very best for acne. A friend of mine told me acupuncture is also very effective in treating acne.

I spent a grand on accupunture for acne and it does not work effectively enough for its money! It only wasted my time whilst I could have been treated more effectively with western medicines. It is far better to go to a dermatologist and ask for a drug called roaccutane, though it can produce many side-effects such as depression and other more physical symptoms, i did not suffer any and it is incredibly effective at treating acne! Fairly regular blood tests are also required. It works in a matter of weeks to months by preventing your sebaceous glands from secreating sebum a causal agent of acne. This drug works by drying out the skin tremendously and a moiturising cream is recommended but it GETS THE JOB DONE WELL!

i heard that eating chocolate is a myth but thats besides the point...one thing that i noticed worked for me is getting a wash rag. when you wash your face put some of the face wash on the rag and scrub your nose in circular motions...it will eventually scrub them away and make your nose feel smooth and look good..hope this helped
