Hiya, my cyles is normally 27-29 days long but this month I started bleeding on cycle day 17. I had unprotected sex 8 days prior and also the night before the bleeding started. I am now a week on and still bleeding. This started as bright red blood, with a light flow, and turned to dark red 3-4 days in and now its lighter again but I have noticed the past 24 hours that I have been passing small clots (sorry for the tmi)
I am so confused by this. I have had 3 miscarriages and each were very different experiences. I have had some nausea and tender breasts which seem to have subsided, and for a few days before the bleeding started I had a strong metallic taste in my mouth.
Could my body be playing tricks on me or is it just an early period? Has anyone else experienced the same and had a positive outcome?
