It has been almost a month sicne my last period. I'm 18 and my husband and I have been trying to conceive for 6 months now. We make love on atleast an every other night basis. Last night, during intercourse, I began to bleed, also there were sharp pains in upper abdomen and on my side. The blood was a dark red color. I know it's not an infection or anything of the like because I have had a checkup recently. I have read that it is quite possible for implantation bleeding to occur around the time your period should occur. Can anyone give me a somewhat professional opinion? Thank you so much.

Could be anaerobes, (infection on the cervix, not an std, just due to thrush, heating, yeast imbalance etc), I had it once when I was about 18, it really hurt and was a pain, but a course of antibiotics soon sorted me out. Other than that, might just be severe stress... I know these posts were made a while ago, hope you got it sorted out.. regards..
