Bleeding during sex

I lost my virginity a couple of weeks ago with my boyfriend and it was quite painful so my he stopped after a few seconds because he didn't want to hurt me but when he pulled out there was a little bit of blood on the condom, but i thought that it was just my hymen breaking so didn't think much of it. A few days after we decided to try again, this time it was a little bit uncomfortable at the start but then got better, but when he pulled again the was some blood on the condom again. We both think that it was because i still needed to be opened up more because he didn't go all the way in the first time.

Then this morning, we had sex for the third time and the was more blood, a lot more than the last two times. I am due to get my period tomorrow and i think it has come early because i'm getting all the signs i usually get - cramps, really hungry, sore back, etc - and i'm still bleeding. But my boyfriend doesn't think thats it... he really wants me to go to the doctor to get it checked out but i wanna wait until i finish my period and try again after that just to see if I bleed again.

I don't know if i should go to the doctor just to make sure or if i should wait and try again. I really need advice on what to do because to me he's overeating but to him i'm just making excuses of why i shouldn't go. Please help!
