bleeding over a month..

Ok so i got my period the month befor last and then last month i got a dark brown discharge and i figured it was probably nothing to.worry about. But it kept coming over into the next (this) month and the blood is bright like my period now, but its not as heavy as my regular period. Should i see a doctor?
