You may want to check out Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome. Symptoms can be controlled sometimes with an antidepressant called Nortriptyline, and episodes of vomiting can be terminated with Zofran and sleep, which can be induced with Benadryl. Hope this helps.

Please, you guys! Look into dysautonomia! That is where I am now with all of the same symptoms. I am sooooo tired and frustrated anymore, but my doc is agreeing with this as the possible cause. Just check it out, okay?

I had food poisoning (i think...possibly a bad intestinal bug...but pretty sure it was from a merrengue on a pir made with old old eggs). I had all of these symptoms. Diarrhea, nausea, vomitting....later hard swelling after i eat, abdominal pain, spastic bowel. I've had more relief from the long-term symptoms by using Lactobacillus acidophilus supplements with capsules of slippery elm than anything I have picked up over-the-counter or prescribed by my doc. My doc told me to roll with it...so i am! You can find these things here: herbchick.mynsp.com

You should have your appendix tested. you may have a rumbling appendix. it can be extremely painful and make you very sick. Unfortunately they don't normally do anything about it until it ruptures...

I've had similar symptoms. I'm 18 years old and I usually eat really clean, like REALLY clean. I only do organic foods and I ate a diet called GAPS (helps heal your intestinal lining) for a few months and it really helped my intestinal health, it even helped my skin, hair, energy levels and my ADD.

Well, when Thanksgiving rolled around, I ate a lot of sugar and wheat and dairy (I suffer from inflammation in my body, it bloats my skin, my joints ache, and I'll have moderate gas). I had stopped eating garbage for a few days and was feeling better. But yesterday, my mom and I were out and about and we both ate a hamburger.

I started to feel a little pain around 2:00 pm, but I didn't think much of it. But when 8:00 pm rolled around I was in so much pain I could not even get out of bed. It helped to walk a little bit, but I felt so light headed and nauseated.

My mom wasn't feeling very good last night either, so she suggested that I take castor oil* and rub it on my stomach. It seemed to ease the pain and I was actually able to pass gas (which had been nearly impossible a few hours before).

I think it could be a form of food poisoning or maybe a parasite** or bacteria infection***. I hope this helps!

P.S.-

for all of you who are wondering why I haven't gone to a doctor, it's because I have little faith in "western" or "traditional" medicine. Most of them will simply look at your symptoms and put you on a laxative (that may do more harm then good) or give you antibiotics.

Castor oil*- don't take it orally unless you have extreme constipation. I did this once and it was massively painful when I went to use the bathroom. I suggest rubbing it on your stomach because when it soaks through your skin it has a gentler effect and it can help things move down there. It actually used to be known as "the hand of God" because it is so powerful. It will boost you immunity, improve circulation, stimulate the liver, relieve pain, reduce inflammation and improve digestion. It also prevents unhealthy growth of bacteria, mold, and yeast.

Parasite**- for all of you who are alarmed that I would even write about parasites, relax. Everyone has them! Everyone! Our body, if working the way it should, usually keeps those guys in check and keeps them from over running your system. But sometimes, when our immune systems are compromised, they can overrun and cause havoc.

Bacteria Infection***- your intestines are full of flora! But you can actually be constipated if you have the wrong amount of the kinds of flora. I usually take a liquid acidophiles and eat organic fermented foods. It really seems to make my intestines very happy.

I'm not a doctor and this advice does not replace knowlegable and proffesional adivce.
