This is somewhat common and can occur at any age. Have you masturbated since? How was the color?

that was the 1st time i noticed the colour of semen was red and as i was scared i did not masterbate since almost last two weeks due to fear. i got myself thoroughly checked by the doctors of a highly reputed hospital in Mumbai 2 yrs back and there was no prostate related disorder.

It can be a frightening experience but this does occur and often has no identifiable cause. I'm glad you've had your prostate checked recently.
Give things a try. Your semen may still be off color, it can take a while for it to clear. If it continues, see your doctor or better, a urologist.

I masturbated and released my semen but there was blood in it. What does blood in the semen mean? There is no painful experience in the pelvic area or even on the penis or scrotum. I'm already in the early 40s.
