Ask your doctor for humira! I have HS a have to had surgeries to help with it but a friend if mine has it way worse and was prescribed humira n she said it helps
Hi everyone, i haven't read all your answers but i am 20 years old, 6 months ago i figured out what gives me boils between my thighs and butt. Potatoes! I will never eat them in my life, it may be different for others but im just giving my two cents on what could be the issue, i let people know that i am allergic to potatoes and i cant eat them, its hard because many foods include potatoes such as fries, well i just dont get fries and if i do i give them away. Another food that gives me acne around my face are tomatoes, jalapenos, and peppers, if you have not heard of nightshades i suggest you look them up, good luck everyone

Wow.. Just like most of you I was doing some research and stumbled upon this. I figured out a couple of years ago I have HS, just by doing research myself, any time I go to a Dr about it they know nothing, I will find good Dr soon. Anyways I feel so relieved to know I'm not the only sufferer.. this condition is so embarrassing. I was in 6th grade when first started getting them, I'll be 34 this month, so I have been dealing with this for a long time, and it seemed to have gotten worse after I had my daughter 8 years ago, anyone else that way? Does anyone know if it can be passed down to kids? I pray my daughter doesn't get it. She isn't over weight like I was/am. I recently started cutting carbs out of my eating and have lost 60 lbs since Oct but I still got a long ways to go. I'm so glad I'm not alone with this.

I also have this issue however mine seems to be more blackheads than boils in between my thighs. I'm 39 now and thought it was just me.
I've been suffering from this for over 13 years now. It's created scarring, black heads, boils and darkening of the skin in between my thighs. Its so embarrassing and disgusting looking. I can't take having it anymore. I've lost weight and it's cut down a lot with the boils but I do break out with 1 or 2 around my time of the month. But the blackheads and skin darkening is horrible. I use scrubs, antiseptic wash to no avail. I think I'll try a skin peeler for the scars. Gonna do some research on a good dermatologist.
I seriously thought this happened to everyone. But my boyfriend doesn't have them, and I've talked to my friends and they never have a problem. I've been dealing with this ever since over worn shorts! I always thought it was just from thigh chaffing. This has been super helpful.
My obgyn said its just extra fat. He also said the only way to lose it was lose weight in that area. I been doing the exercise and it really works.

I have the same thing! Finally my dermatologist agreed to put me on Humeria. I got pregnant before I started taking the drug so I don’t know if it works. Talk to her doctor about Humeria. It sounds like a serious drug but I was willing to take the risk.
