They ignore because they have no meds to control or help this!
Ablation won't work for you! But they still push us to have them! Only work for people with a true heart issue! Not stomach /bowel!
Which beta blocker how much? Have a hard time taking them think I have same problem though started at 60yrs old
Have similar situation started at 60 yr just through menopause told me I have AFIB and put me on meds that don't help! Just take small dose beta blocker to keep heart rate down for when my heart periodically starts to beat faster/irregular know it has to do w my stomach/ bowels!thats why meds don't work! Neither will ablation
Mine started around menopause too and was constipated a lot for about 10 yrs before my arrhythmia started! They call it AFIB but I think has more to do with my stomach/bowels! Hence why heartbreak meds" don't work! Just take very small dose beta blocker but I my know why!
I have arrhythmia which is irregular heart beats call AFIB. I can tell you the bowels cause mine. As soon as I go out of rhythm my bowels and bladder both start moving several times. It is very necessary to keep the colon clean and make sure you do not get constipated. If you would research Dr. Carolyn Dean and get her magnesium you would see a big difference Magnesium is very important to keep the heart in rhythm. God is our Healer we need Doctors but Jesus is the one I trust for my healing. I am 79 years old and beat terminal breast cancer by doing what the :Bible said to take Ezekiel :12 and the fruit of the tree is for our fruit and the leaf of the tree is for our medicine. You can read it. I was told 1/1988 for the rest of my life I would have cancer because my cancer had reoccurred and I took no chemo or radiation and I am here 29 years later.
The info about this seems to be more out there in general awareness. I'm just finding out about this - I don't have A-fib (yet?) but it seems like everyone I talk with is being diagnosed with it. But I DO have a lot of digestive issues, and for the last year have had to take Miralax daily (doctor's orders). Even with that, I seem to need Milk of Magnesia about once a month. Oh year, I take a few teaspoons of Benefiber during the day also, this does seem to help, but was not enough by itself_ some people tell me you can also have TOO MUCH fiber bind you up inside!. Sigh...
Thank you for posting this! I've always experienced this and now my heart is in AFIB. I told my cardiologist that after a bowel movement the rapid heart rate goes away.. he told me the two were NOT related. You can't convince me otherwise. Someday someone will get it connected.
There have been times that I've had excess gas in the stomach and its affected my heart rhythm. Eventually a hearty belch relieves the pressure and the arrhythmia dissipates.
53 year old male. Started having an arrhythmia in fall of 2016. Doctor prescribed beta blocker (metoprolol 100mg 2x daily) after cardiologist said my heart was normal (nuclear stress testing). There was SOME relief from B.B. but not enough IMO. After extensive blood & urine testing, no other issues found. However, results of blood tests did find a sustained - slight elevation in white blood count so the doctor prescribed antibiotic ciprofloxacin 500mg 2x daily for 10 days in an attempt to squelch unknown infection. Within a day and a half of taking cipro my arrhythmia stopped abruptly. The arrhythmia did not return (not once) for the entire time I was on cipro until a few day after I ran out of the pills. Subsequent blood tests reveal that the white count did subside slightly but is still present. The intensity of the arrhythmia has been reduced ever since but is still there from time to time and not as strong. I'm convinced that the immune response from some infection is causing my palpitations. I've read in the past that the heart can be affected from some infections (ex. gum disease) and my primary Doctor agrees.
This makes alot of sense to me, i've been having skipped beats and tachycardia for the last couple of months and have only just considered the connection. I had put it down to caffeine but since taking senakot last night and experiencing some movement this issue has disappeared. Thank you for putting 2 and 2 together for me
Vagus nerve. You'd be surprised what this nerve does

I agree, I've had a-fib for over 20 years and despite what the docs say I'm convinced there is a connection between pooping and a-fib and anxiety.
That next is called Vagus or Vagas nerve.
