How is it that a girl's hymen can stay in tact if she uses a tampon? Is it that it isn't large enough? It should go in deep enough to pass the hymen right?
Various women have differing degrees of closure or opening of their hymen.
It's alot like how men have varying appearances of their foreskin... some are long... some are short...some have been removed... some are attached where they should be, etc.
A hymen may be a thick, tough flap of skin.... it may be a perferated veil... it may be completely or almost covering the vaginal opening... it may only partially cover.
While most would argue that the use of a tampon would tear the hymen, it IS possible for a woman to use a tampon and NOT tear whatever she has.... or that any use of a tampon MIGHT tear it...
And some women have already torn whatever hymen they might have once had through horseback riding, gymnastics, stretching, masturbation, sex.... the list goes on and on.
But I would prefer that a woman address your question. Nothing beats firsthand experience, and I'm afraid I have none, being a male.
