Hi, I'm a little worried. I have a brownish discharge, and it's about a week and a half before my period. I was wondering what this is. I am using a generic brand of ortho-tricylen also.
Thanks!
Like every other birth control pill, this one has its side effects as well. You should be prepared for all of them, as well as to know all of them. So, the possible side effects include nausea, vomiting, bleeding between menstrual periods, breast tenderness, or weight change. If you experience the constant or abnormal vaginal bleeding, a missed period, dizziness, fainting, swelling of your ankles, headaches, difficulties wearing contact lenses, you should consult your doctor. There are really many complications that you may experience while taking the pill as the body is not used to additional hormones and other substances contained in the pill, and when you take something like that, there could be a possibility that your body will react in a negative way. You might also get a chest pain, difficulty breathing, yellowing skin or eye, changes in vision, severe stomach pain etc.
If you experience any of these more severe symptoms, you immediately check them out with the doc.
